Niger Delta Activist, Alhaji Mujahid Asari-Dokubor has declared that the Governor Dickson Seriake re-election battle goes beyond what people think and it should be fight for emancipation of the Ijaw people.
Dokubor spoke on Tuesday at a rally organised for the declaration of the governor intention to run for a second term in Yenagoa.
A visibly angered Dokubor stated that the political fight is not only that of Governor Seriake Dickson but his
own personal fight as well as that of Bayelsians.
"This fight is beyond Dickson, it is my fight, it is your fight. They boast to us that they control the Army, SSS and INEC.”
Dokubor noted that the Ijaws do not shift grounds. "We don’t run before our enemies. Goodluck did a lot for the people who have turned against us. Those decampees today, if Goodluck had been President, would they have defected?" he queried.
