Complete the leisure park or pack out, Oleri community tell Okowa

The President General of Oleri Community, Mr. Joshua Metobor has told the Delta State Government to complete the multibillion naira Delta Leisure park of evict the land acquired.

An angry Metobr spoke to General Gossips Monday at the site of seemingly abandoned white elephant project.

He threatened that if the project will not be continued, the state government should quickly go and dismantle the uncompleted projects so that the community can continue using the land for farming purpose.

He stated that the patience of his community is running dry as they lacked all the basic needs of life including road and schools.

He also warned that the community will not hesitate to revoke the land given to the Catholic mission for the construction of Mary Shrine, that after seven years nothing meaningful has been done in the 50 acres of land given by the community.
